Twinkle and Rohit’s mixed wedding was one of the most spectacular events that PhotosMadeEzhas had the pleasure to photograph. The location was The Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson, which was transformed into a fantastic dreamland for the gorgeous couple. Starting right from the mehendi, to the main wedding ceremony and ending with the reception… Twinkle and Rohit had the kind of grand wedding that couples dream of.
The sangeet and mehendi saw the lovely bride attired in a bright blue lehenga, her hair and make-up done beautifully by SVBridal Concepts. The colors complemented the sizzling pink and gold décor of the venue, and highlighted the intricate mehendi on her hands and feet.
The wedding day dawned bright and clear. Twinkle donned a stunning ruby and gold lehenga, and Rohit harmonized the look in a cram and gold sherwani. Twinkle’s Bridesmaids helped Sanjana Vaswani doll up Twinkle who could not look more beautiful. Rohit could not get his eyes off her when they had their “first look” with the beautiful NY city skyline as their backdrop. DJ USA made the Punjabi Baratis go all out. The handsome groomsmen competed strongly with Rohit’s Grandfather who flew in from Germany. PhotosMadeEzclicked a variety of non traditional candid photos as the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony which incorporated both the Punjabi rituals and Sindhi rituals. The outdoor wedding took place under a magnificent mandap red and gold mandap, created by Elegant Affairs The smiles on the faces of the bride and groom were infectious and it added an extra sparkle to the ceremony. The most exciting part of the vidai was perhaps the exit of the bride and groom from the venue after the rituals were over… they zipped off in a helicopter, smiling and disappearing over the New Jersey skyline.
By the time of the reception, Twinkle and Rohit were back on ground level again, and adorned in a subtle pink lehenga, and a slate grey suit respectively. Rohit wore a cute pink bow-tie to match Twinkle’s outfit. The venue décor was in shades of glittery fuchsia and crystals, with little personal touches here and there. The wedding cake had a likeness of the bride and groom atop it, in the form of couple dolls. The party was filled with fun, laughter, good tidings, and foot-tapping music by DJ USA and dancing. The extremely appetizing food catered throughout the event by Moghul Caterers was just one more thing that was perfect about the entire wedding. The photos from the Photobooth showed how much fun the guests had. PhotosMadeEz had a memorable time, capturing all the wonderful moments the brought Twinkle and Rohit together in holy matrimony.
