Avni and Kishan’s Engagement shoot created quite a stir on social media after being featured by the South Asian Bridal Magazine. We had to ensure that the Wedding is done even better.
Photosmadeez traveled to yet another beautiful venue in Stamford Ct – The Hilton . Poonam Khanna and her team from RSVP Events ensured that the wedding was picture perfect. At the Sangeet/Garba our beautiful bride Avni wore a multi colored bridal lengha. If we were awestruck with her looks the real surprise was awaiting us. When Avni’s beautiful mother Mrs. Shah gave a separate dance performance along with her two beautiful daughters our jaws dropped. It was more than amazing.. later we learnt she was a trained classical dancer. The garba conducted by Maxx Entertrainment was spectacular. Kishen’s brother and bhabi along with their cute daughter showed their expertise with the dandiya.
On the Big Day, we met a very talented make up artist Zeeshan owner of Glow Zee for the very first time. She dolled up the beautiful bride in the red and white lengha, traditional colors for Gujarati Weddings. Her bridesmaids in red sarees were too happy to help their friend. We did a first look with Dad. A very very emotional scene – not always do you see the entire family coming to witness Dad see his princess daughter as a bride. While everybody was reaching out for Kleenex we were capturing all the emotions that was flowing – a perfect chance for Photo Journalism for PhotosMadeEz.
Kishen however beamed with joy when Avni came with the varmala towards him at the Baraat where Kishen and his groomsmen showed that they had some moves of their own. Avni was walked down the aisle by her mama and brother and her parents could not take their eyes off their precious daughter. The ceremony took place in the mandap, beautifully decorated by Abhishek Decorators .The Guests remained the witness to all the different aspects of a Hindu Wedding – the bride and groom exchanging jaimala, taking vows, doing the saat phere. Portraits of the Bride and Groom, Family Portraits and the Bridal Party Portraits were done after the vidaii which again was extremeley emotional. The mood changed when the Bride’s sister and the bridesmaids blocked the groom’s car refusing to let him take his bride without bribing them.
Avni chose a blue and teal lengha as her reception outfit. The hot pink lipstick added glamor. The floral orchids completed the looks. Kishen looked even more handsome in his crisp black suit. Their sweetheart table, judged as one of the best decor’s of 2014 made the guests stop to take a selfie in front of it. The cake was great.. The speeches were greater. Avni’s twin brother raised the toast to the beautiful couple. Their first dance oozed romance. The night ended with lot of dances and great food catered by Chand Palace. We, at PhotosMadeEz wish them all the best in their future together and thank for the opportunity to be the part of this fantastic wedding, which of course was later featured by Maharani Weddings.
